Connecting the C24 -Help Needed

Help meeeeee!!! I have used the 002 console in the past without any problems. Just recently purchased the C24 and 003 Rack. The C24 has only an ethernet connection on the rear. How do I connect it to the 003 and MAC G5. Are there steps I need to do inside the Mac? The manual isn't clear on this issue. I have all the other connections complete. Monitors, mics, sound gens, etc.. I'm running PT 8 w/ OS X 10.5.6 The 003 rack and G5 work just fine by themselves. How do I get the C24 online?????? Please excuse my ignorance.:confused:

You have to connect the C24 via the supplied Ethernet Cable to the Ethernet Port of the Mac--is it a MacPro or a PPC G5?--(one or two Ports?) You then ,have to 'activate' the C24 from inside ProTools:Setup-->Peripherals-->Ethernet Controllers. The C24 'connects' with the 003 in terms of Audio Wiring
